Update on democracy

Or at least on information...

So I stand corrected. Well, not corrected, per se, but my orignal assumption that I would not hear back from the CEO of LHS Associates, John Silvestro, turned out to be wrong. Mr. Silvestro called me at home on Satuday and then again on Sunday. He answered my questions very clearly and was more than willing to tell me what I needed to know.

To all the politicians out there that I called, this is how you do it, guys.

Isn't it a shame that I had to go outside of my elected officials to a private company to get the info I requested? It wasn't source code or proprietary info or anything priveleged or protected. It was a very simple question.

Who counts the votes in my town?

And props to John Silvestro and LHS Associates for giving me my answer.

And a big raspberry to the election officials in Massachusetts for not.
